With your help, over 300 children will receive the essential tools to scholastic success.

For a moment, imagine that you are a carpenter and have to show up on the jobsite with only a pencil and a hammer. You're told to start framing a house---no nails, no saw, no square, no chalk line. How can anyone expect you to do your job without the proper tools and materials?

At the start of every school year, thousands of children throughout the San Jose area are asked to do just that---to start school without the tools and supplies to frame their education. We need your help to insure that these children have the tools to successfully build their future.

We especially need backpacks for our youngest students, grades K-2.
