"I received a lot of thank you letters from Sunday Friends;
however, I feel I need to thank Sunday Friends for offering me
the opportunity to serve." — College Student Volunteer
How
to Collect at Work or School
Want to help local families in a big way? Collect through your workplace,
school, church, synagogue, neighborhood or community.
Here
are some ideas:
1.
Organize a donation drive with a special theme, such as Diapers,
Household Cleansers, Toys, Holiday Gifts, etc.
2.
Have a party and ask each guest to bring a toy or an item consistent
with your theme.
3.
Hold a contest to see which class or age group or gender collects the
most.
1.
Toys
2.
Diapers and wipes and baby supplies
3.

7.

We'll
be happy to help you:
1. We can provide literature, personalized donation boxes and facts for you.
2. Customize
this flyer
for your communications.
3. Our children can produce artwork for your invitations or flyers or
party decorations or to use as prizes.
4. We can provide donation envelopes for cash donations.
5. After we receive your donations, our children and their parents will
write and illustrate personal thank you notes to your group. You can
post or publish or distribute these precious letters to thank all of
your participants.
