We are asking for your help. When you drop off goods, please...

Separate NEW items from USED items.
Use our improved Donation Sheet.
- Itemize your donations, especially the new items. We appreciate specific information about your donation.
- Include your store receipt, if you have it. This will help us value your donation most accurately.
Include a $5 donation with each delivery to help defray our processing costs.

IF YOU DROP OFF AT LOWELL SCHOOL

Please label your boxes and bags as either "NEW" or "USED".
Make sure your Donation Sheet is complete. If you didn't bring one with you, ask a Treasure Chest staff person for one.
Our staff will be happy to accept a cash donation along with your delivery of goods.

Please note that Sunday Friends meets on the second and the fourth Sunday of every month (December and November are exceptions: we'll be there only the second Sunday). The best times to bring a donation are between 11:00AM and 3:00PM. While we can accept some donations betweeen 3:00PM and 6:00PM, these items probably will not be made available to families until the following program.

Do not leave unattended donations at Lowell School and please never bother Lowell School personnel.

IF YOU DROP OFF AT LOS GATOS SITE

We can ONLY accept New Dialy Consumable Basic Necessities (toiletries, laundry detergent, diapers, wipes, household cleansers, etc., not clothing or household items) in Los Gatos.
You will find peel-and-stick labels to help you identify your boxes and bags as either "NEW" or "USED".
The donation shed has been divided into two separate areas. Please place NEW items on the right. Place USED items on the left.
A lock box has been installed to allow you to leave cash donations conveniently and securely.

WHY ARE WE ASKING FOR THIS SPECIAL HELP?

Please know that it has been our pleasure since January 1997 to pass on your treasures to local families in need through our Sunday Friends program. You make a world of difference for children and their parents.

We in Sunday Friends want to be able to continue providing this service indefinitley. However, the cost of examining, sorting, testing, transporting and organizing the donations -- as well as disposing of useless items -- has risen as our program has grown. We have determined that we can afford to sustain this organization only if we recieve your assistance in defraying and reducing the cost of processing the donations.

Please help. Donate tax-deductible cash as well as goods. Sort and label and deliver your donations in the ways that we have described above. Please recognize that we do NOT have capability to repair damaged and soiled items, nor do our families. With your support, we will together be able to continue to meet the needs of many deserving families.
