How Your Cash Donation is Used

Because of Sunday Friends' extensive volunteer base and lean operating model, every dollar donated to Sunday Friends generates approximately $25 in goods and services directly to families in need.

Basic Necessities for Families (that they will "purchase" with tickets they earn through the Sunday Friends program):

•Basic School Supplies

•Diapers

•Soaps and Shampoos

•Household Cleaners

•Hygiene Products

•Batteries

•Other needed items that are not otherwise donated in-kind

Program Supplies

•Ingredients and tools for Healthy Cooking and Juicing Projects

•Writing Supplies

•Educational Games

•Art and Craft Materials

•Publications, including: In-Program newspaper and announcements

How far does your contribution go?

• $50 provides educational materials for one Sunday Friends program.

•$100 will purchase cooking ingredients for one Sunday Friends program.

•$250 will provide the necessities that families work to earn - including diapers, toiletries and school supplies - in one Sunday Friends program.

Will you know how your cash donation was used?

Yes. Every donor to Sunday Friends receives a tax receipt (since your donation is fully tax-deductible) along with a letter telling you how your contribution was used.
