Sunday Friends is a unique, community-based program in which:
Families work together…
Children and parents participate together in all aspects of the program so the new attitudes and work styles can be carried on within the home.
Sunday Friends is not a drop in center for adults, nor a day care center for children.
…to earn what they need…
Every activity allows individuals to earn tickets that
they can redeem for basic necessities.
There are no handouts at Sunday Friends.
…as they give back to their community.
Our family members experience being vital contributing members of society.
There are no “charity cases” doing “make work” projects.
Sunday Friends brings out the best in people by providing them opportunities to practice work ethics and money management as they work side by side as equals with volunteers.
