Will you know how your cash donation was used?

Yes. You will receive a letter from Sunday Friends (along with a tax receipt) telling you how your contribution was used. You will also receive handwritten, illustrated letters from our participating families thanking you for your donation.

What do we spend your cash donation to buy?

Basic Necessities Families Earn through the Sunday Friends program using "tickets":

• Backpacks & School Supplies

• Laundry Detergent

• Household Cleaners

• Soaps and Shampoos

• Toiletries

• Diapers

• Other consumable basic necessities that are not otherwise donated

Program Supplies

• Ingredients and Tools for Healthy Cooking Projects

• Writing Supplies

• Educational Games

• Art and Craft Materials

• In-program Publications, including the newsletter and announcements for families

How far does your contribution go?

•  $25 will help defray the cost of one nutritional education program

•  $75 will pay for baby supplies for one baby for one month

•  $100 will pay for school supplies for one child for one year

•  $300 will pay for educational supplies and teachers for one of our programs (writing, English, academics)

•  $1000 will pay for a families' basic necessities for one year (household cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc.)
