"I feel like people there really care about the volunteers. (They) also empower the family through earning things rather than just giving them away as charity". - Volunteer

"The people are a lot friendlier. Things are not so systematic that you feel you are working in a factory,
but they are orderly in a sense that you feel homey." - Volunteer

What do we count on you to remember?

Safety and Security

Please supervise the use of knives, tools, scissors, electric frying pans and other dangerous objects very closely.
Don't leave a station or materials unattended by a volunteer.
Don't leave tickets where someone might be tempted to steal them.
Always request more volunteer help if you have too much to pay attention to.

We care about your experience

• Don't hesitate to ask questions about anything that will help you do a better job.

• Let a leader know right away if you are uncomfortable with something.

• If you have thoughts, questions, concerns, observations or ideas to share, call us during the week following the program: (408) 793-0441. We are always happy to hear from you.

Have fun
