Over the past two decades, he has held similar leadership positions across global technology companies like Intel, Hewlett-Packard, CA Technologies, Citrix Systems and Cadence Design Systems. Prior to PayPal, Sebastian worked at Amazon, where he led that company’s participation at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, as well as Amazon’s internal gender diversity conference and the company’s Affinity Groups. He previously worked at The Walt Disney Studios where he helped start Women@Disney and built the business case for D&I. Sebastian began his D&I career at Macy’s. Sebastian earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. He is originally from Chile, and has lived all over the world, including in Japan, Spain and Saudi Arabia. Sebastian currently lives with his wife and daughter in Silicon Valley.

Senior Financial Analyst at Adobe. Prior to Adobe, Tashiya worked for four years as a management consultant for BERK, a Seattle public sector consulting firm, where she worked on projects that ranged from economic development to early learning education to urban planning. Before BERK, Tashiya spent two years working as an Peace Corps Volunteer in Rwanda where she taught English to 7th and 8th graders and built the first library in her rural community. Tashiya was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka and immigrated to the United States at the age of 12. Having experienced the short and long term challenges of immigrating to the United States, Tashiya wants to use her multi-faceted skills to listen and work towards empowering families to break the generational cycle of poverty. In her free time, Tashiya likes to challenge herself by going on long hikes and traveling to foreign lands.

Founder, Prior to founding Sunday Friends in 1997, worked for 15 years at Apple, Intel and other companies, including start-ups, in a variety of roles, including engineer, project leader and manager. 46 years of volunteer work, including tutoring, suicide prevention, inner-city community projects, work with developmentally disabled and mentally ill populations and creation of after-school curricula and community service clubs and events. She holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
