Prior to Twilio, Sebastian worked at PayPal, where he led the Employee Resource Group program globally, created the safe space discussion framework, and consulted with the business to drive DEI deeper into the organization. Prior to PayPal Sebastian worked at Amazon, where he led that company’s participation at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, as well as Amazon’s internal gender diversity conference and the company’s Affinity Groups. He previously worked at The Walt Disney Studios where he helped start Women@Disney and built the business case for D&I. Sebastian began his D&I career at Macy’s. Sebastian earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. He is originally from Chile, and has lived all over the world, including in Japan, Spain and Saudi Arabia. Sebastian currently lives with his wife and daughter in the Tucson, Arizona area.
