BACKGROUND
In 2021, The board and staff at Sunday Friends set out to develop a strategic plan to guide our mission over the next three to five years by sharpening our program focus. We evaluated our strengths, successes, values, and the needs of our community. We also took stock of the gains we have achieved through our digital pivot in response to the pandemic. Our objective was to build upon those strengths and values to focus our program on activities that would provide measurable results towards shifting the needle on poverty, and would make positive and significant impact in the lives of the families we support.
The end result is a strategic plan supporting our mission to empower families to break the generational cycle of poverty by equipping families with the knowledge and skills to achieve economic mobility.
