about US
Sunday Friends empowers underserved San Jose families to obtain the basic necessities to survive and acquire the life skills to thrive for upward mobility from poverty.
Sunday Friends family members learn essential life skills (Financial, Health/Wellness, Career Readiness, and Communication Confidence), while receiving basic necessities and nutritious foods for the whole family. The program helps underserved families be stabilized and educated to improve their financial standing, health, career earning capacity, and self/children/family advocacy in school, their community, immigration status, and beyond.
Together, we foster positive childhood development and elevate hope that through initiative and hard work, everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
