Angel's relationship with technology started at age eleven, when his dad brought home a Pentium II computer from a Food4Less on Parkmoor Avenue in San Jose — the same street where Angel now works out of the Sobrato Center for Nonprofits. That early spark of curiosity led him down a self-taught path that eventually earned him professional IT certifications. Today, he channels that same love of problem-solving into supporting Sunday Friends' operations and community engagement.

A San Jose native, Angel brings both lived experience and professional expertise to his role. He is passionate about bridging access gaps — whether through technology, systems, or community partnerships — and believes that when the right tools meet the right support, real transformation follows. For Angel, Sunday Friends isn't just a workplace; it's a full-circle reminder of what becomes possible when communities invest in one another.
